Is laser epilation really permanent?
The laser offers a permanent reduction of the hairs: after the cycle of sittings most of the follicles treated stop producing the hair, and those that grow are thinner and radiant. Some maintenance sessions can be useful over time, especially in case of hormonal changes.
How many sessions do you need?
It depends on the area, color and thickness of the hair, skin and hormonal factors. They usually need different sessions of a few weeks. The indicative number for you we establish it during free consultation.
How often do you sit down?
The ranges vary according to the area and regrowth: usually a few weeks for the face and a few more weeks for the body. Suitable for sitting after sitting according to the results.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel only a heat or a slight pinch, well tolerable. The parameters are adapted to the area and your sensitivity.
Does it work on blonde, white or red hair?
Laser acts on the hair melanin, so it works better on dark hair. On very clear, white or red hair the effectiveness is reduced: we evaluate it together in consultancy.
Can you do it in summer?
It is better to start in autumn or winter, because before and after the sessions it is necessary to avoid tan. With the right precautions you can still work even in the warm months, on areas not exposed to the sun.
Can I use the wax between one session and the other?
No: wax, tweezers and epilator remove the bulb on which the laser acts. Between one session and the other you can use the razor or a depilatory cream.
How do I prepare for the session?
Rase the area the day before, avoid sun, lamps and self-tapping and do not apply creams or deodorants on the area on the day of treatment.
Who can’t make laser epilation?
Treatment is not performed in pregnancy, on tanned or irritated skin, on tattoos and in case of some photosensitizing drugs. During the consultation I will ask you all the information you need to work safely.
